LCS was pleased to be invited by NDS to Dubai from April 15 to 18 to present its CMS Crystal to local partners. This event was our opportunity to explore a new and very promising environment. Because the market is in full expansion in this region of the world, it is essential for Crystal to establish a presence in the Middle East.
The trip schedule was divided into 2 full days:
– April 16 – Workshop with local partners in the region;
– April 17 – Travel and visits to important prospects in Kuwait.
At the workshop on April 16, Crystal was a hit with local partners. The objective was to introduce the attending partners to the interface and share the Crystal concept. Together, the partners at the workshop represented the entire Middle East, from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and many other countries.
Business on April 17 was much more focused on visiting end customers, with LCS and its sales team travelling to present Crystal to 4 major prospects in Kuwait. An interesting and experience-filled day that allowed the teams to interact directly with end customers and grasp the specific needs of the region.
Unlike traditional markets, the Middle East is on the lookout for highly advanced technology and offers very large-scale projects. Getting to know the environment well is important to establish a business footing in the Middle East. This trip empowered the LCS teams to assess the regional market and culture so as to better adapt to the region’s needs.
Crystal definitely sparked interest in the people we met and should quickly be adopted by the region! Our teams are constantly working meet the specific needs of the Middle East!
